August 27th to 31st - LORETO, ISLA CORONADO, RAMADA COVE.

New "Gringo" town south of Loreto. A Canadian developer was involved, but we hear that the project is now in receivership, due to the US real estate meltdown. Our friend Derek used to work on the project, but is back in Canada now.

Loreto is the oldest Spanish city on the west coast of Mexico. It has a great historical feel to it. We only spent two part days here, but would like to return to explore further.

Isla Coranado is a national park and great snorkeling area (the water was still a bit murky from TS Julio). Passat II in the bay. Great sandy beaches. Big mammals, little fish. Its all about putting your feet up and enjoying life!
